BRUSSELS, Belgium – The European Union on Saturday, November 14, called for a minute's silence to be held for the victims of a series of attacks in Paris in which, according to the French police, at least 128 were killed.

The minute's silence is due to be held on Monday, November 16, at 1100 GMT.

World leaders and mourners across the globe earlier reacted to the attacks in Paris with tears and shows of solidarity and condemnations of those who carried out the assaults. – Rappler.com
