MANILA, Philippines – How far would you go to win the people's votes?

Generations of wisened politicians have always had to face one predicament during election time: How to get noticed above everyone else vying for the same position as you?

Many tactics are put into play: heart-wrenching commercials, witty catchphrases, and especially LSS-inducing campaign jingles. Some politicians dare to take it a notch further: getting jiggy for their voters.

This year's elections is no different.

For your viewing pleasure (or not), we present the 2016 #PHVote candidates breaking it down:

Candidate number one: clad in the color of passion and dancing into your hearts–and hopefully onto your ballots as well–ER Ejercito. He is running for Governor in Laguna.

Candidate number 2, showing that running for senator has done amazing things for his legs, look at Mig Zubiri's legwork in our next number.

Up next is a triple threat with senatorial candidate Alma Moreno leading the jig and senatorial candidate Manny Pacquiao paired with presidential candidate Jejomar Binay as her back-up dancers.

Not to be outdone, presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte shows the nation that Bisaya's can break it down too.

How did the Davao mayor and his running mate vice presidential candidate Alan Peter Cayetano respond to this dance tribute? By getting into the craze.

{source}<iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fbusiness.facebook.com%2Frapplerdotcom%2Fvideos%2Fvb.310621318958658%2F1165578130129635%2F%3Ftype%3D3&show_text=0&width=560" width="560" height="315" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" allowFullScreen="true"></iframe>{/source}

Last but not least, when a family member is running for a national position, everyone has to pitch in with the campaign. Doing his duty by presidential candidate Grace Poe is her son, Brian Poe, giving the crowd the ol' razzle dazzle. Is he First Son material yet?

Do you think dancing helps a candidate's chance of gaining people's votes?

We posted a Twitter poll and the answer came in a landslide:

Whether their talents help them shine onstage or their skills are best left undiscovered, there is no denying that when the country's would-be leaders bust a move, the crowd just can't look away.
