MANILA, Philippines – The running mate of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is again the winner of the second round of the vice presidential debate on Sunday, April 10, according to voters on the Rappler online poll.
Senator Alan Peter Cayetano took the most number of votes, getting 98 votes (50.78%) of the total 193 votes. Administration bet Leni Robredo took second place with 53 votes (27.46%), followed by Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr with 34 votes (17.62%), Senator Antonio Trillanes IV with 4 votes (2.07%), Senator Francis Escudero with 3 votes (1.55%), and Senator Gringo Honasan with 1 vote (0.52%).
Cayetano also won the first round of the Rappler poll.
The event is the first and only vice presidential debate organized by the Commission on Elections (Comelec), with media partners CNN Philippines and BusinessMirror.
