MANILA, Philippines – Another Aegis Juris-linked student turns up at the Manila Police District (MPD) on Wednesday, September 27.
Jason Robiños went to the MPD homicide section at around 5:30 pm "to cooperate with authorities."
His lawyer Adenn Sigua said his client decided to go to the police to clear his name. Robiños was in the travel lookout list issued by the Department of Justice of 20 members of the Aegis Juris.
Sigua made it clear that Robiños was not surrendering to the police station, lest there be another mishap with the inquest and preliminary investigation that may lead to his detention.
According to his lawyer, Robiños cut his ties with the Aegis Juris fraternity in 2015 after encountering health problems.
His lawyer added that Robiños underwent an initiation, but was not physically tortured.
